Chris has 30 years experience working in the Child, Adolescent and Family Support and Community Services sector. Starting out as a competent Child and Family worker, Chris became the CEO of a Youth and Family service in 1998, until 2010.
Chris is experienced in the areas of managing business, recruiting and training staff, assessing and managing risk, developing appropriate policy and procedures, managing a productive team, staff recruitment and supervision, as well as having a sound knowledge of counselling, care and community welfare practices.
After managing a small community based service for 12 years, Chris has spent the last three years as a Consultant and Trainer/Assessor in the Community Services and Business sector.
Chris also develops training resources for Business, Child Care, Aged Care, OHS, Frontline Management and Legal and Ethical Requirements. Chris is committed to transferring her skills and knowledge to those who want to explore and improve their skills.
Chris has highly developed presentation skills in areas such as leadership and teamwork, performance management, change management, client and customer service strategies, work/life balance and policy and procedures. Her qualifications and expertise includes the areas of Child Care and Youth Work, Document and Tender Writing, Community Development, Business Management, Strategic Planning and Training and Assessment.
